Critter Crew Chronicles provides a collection of 100 different decodable books designed to help students in kindergarten and first grade become better readers. Each set of books contains five stories, and every fifth book includes a review of the letters and sounds learned so far.
The students' reading level is first determined, then the decodable books are used to begin their journey. Throughout the school year, each student receives one book per week to take home. That's 30 books per student! They can read their books to their family, their friends, or even their pets. The books can also be used in class for extra help or more challenging reading practice.
